Lust and sexual perversion

Murder and violence fill the screens,

Desensitizing the viewers,

Making these become familiar scenes.

People say, “That’s reality.”

Depictions of violence and strife,

Foul language, substance abuse

Are everyday scenes of normal life.”

Sensuality and harsh words

Persistent elements of evil,

Through video games, TV screens

And movies continue to prevail

To the degree we’re all jaded

And don’t notice—we can’t even tell.

It’s become the expected norm,

And now Satan says, “Yes, all is well.”
