The young maiden went to hear a lecture
On the best way to make any plants grow.
The speaker was sharing the best of tricks
For those people with any plants to sow.

“The best tip I have is old cow manure,
So try that and any plant should grow now.”
The young maiden heaved a woebegone sigh,
And asked, “But where can I find an old cow?”
